On Wednesday the 6th of December I visited Rehn Bier Brewery and Bar in Tanunda, South Australia.
This brewery has been in operation for about five years but has only been in the Tanunda site for four weeks.
Initially all of their beers went into bottles, but as of last year they started kegging some as well. They make batches of between 500 litres and 800 litres at a time depending on the variety. All of the beers are unfiltered and made without preservatives. They use all Australian ingredients where possible.
They have a good selection of beers in their range but unfortunately I was not able to sample any or purchase any to take away and try later, due to licensing laws. They are available in selected outlets throughout the Barossa Valley and Adelaide.
